Experiments in top-lipped trichophilia and raising cash by growing a tache

I’ve been thinking about all the lovely people that have been supporting me over the last couple of weeks. The sponsorships have been great and the clicks in the battles have been numerous.

But I was thinking today that it’d be really nice if everyone could somehow join in the fun with a tache of their own.

First I thought about Photoshop:

And stick on mexican moustaches from the fancy dress shop …obviously.

And the taches for your phone, of course:

But after a conversation with a good friend I realised that it could be as simple as adding a tache to your smileys!

Now, every time you tweet, IM, email or digitally emote you can add a tache.

I’m sure there are many many ways to go with this, but I’ve discovered at least three good options for the newbie tache-smiler.

Option 1: THE CHAP

 :})

Very simple but oh so stylish. A tache one of my heroes Michael “Atters” Attree would be proud of.

Option 2: THE GENT

 :|)

Just as simple but perhaps one for the more conservative tache-tweeter.

Option 3: THE BOUNDER

 :{)

A reverse Chap, chap-esque but with a hint of the devilish.

Option 4: THE BIKER

 :C)

This is the look I’m going for, a full on biker handlebar - 70s-porn-style. Nice!

So yeah… if you remember, please play along… if you’re ever about to fire off a smiley, think about adding some style and do please remember it’s all for a good cause.
